We are still trying to trace friends and relatives of the 34 young men from New Mill who were killed in WW1. Their photos hang in New Mill Club’s Memorial Room. We are holding an open night on April 1st, 7.00pm, New Mill Club. Tom Ashworth, local military historian, will launch his book about these men and New Mill during WW1 on May 13th.
